Why is coaching essential for cracking IIT JEE

In today's competitive world, everyone wants to ex cell in their respective Field's . For this goal expert advise and supervision is needed. There is nothing wrong with the idea of taking a coaching assignment for a desired goal. Then why people make all hue and cry about the coaching classes . Most of the time i heard the mention of coaching (so called industry) it is almost every time mentioned in negative sense.Even the subject matter of coaching and it's impact is discussed in Indian parliament at length, and there too, the coaching classed was painted as a villainous industry which is suppressing the true talent of India at the expense of lesser talented and  more privileged classes.

I think that the criticism often comes from a section which is totally oblivious of need of today's student community and their aspirations. In fact it is the poor standard of studies in school and less conducive environment of school's which is responsible for the growth of this industry.

Rather then criticising the coaching classes, the critics should focus on improving the standard of teaching in school's and providing a conducive environment for free and scientific thinking in schools. But this is a big ask.

In most of the schools , the teachers are merely puppets in the hand of management. In private schools , the teacher's are poorly payed and all this has a telling effect on morale of school teachers. More so their place in society is looked upon as someone, who have no other option but to take the teaching profession as a last resort.  In this scenario, it is really difficult to motivate student's for competitive exams.
